Then PM launched the 8070 Free Atta Scheme under the Ramzan Relief Package to provide free flour (atta) to millions of low-income families.
This scheme was coordinated by the Punjab government in partnership with federal authorities. This scheme returned in Ramzan 2024 and then continued its plan in 2025 with some improvements. In 2025, billions of rupees have been allocated to support food security for free flour distribution. This scheme allows eligible citizens to receive three 10kg bags of atta through a simple mobile registration process using code 8070. Special counters are set up at utility stores, truck points, and distribution centers during the holy month of Ramzan for its easy distribution.

Eligibility Criteria of Ehsaas Free Atta Scheme
Ehsaas Free atta scheme, commonly known as the 8070 Free atta scheme, is only for low-income and eligible families. Every household cannot apply for this program. Here is the criteria list for the free atta scheme.
- You must be a resident of Punjab or KPK.
- Your monthly household income should be below Rs 60,000.
- You must have a valid Pakistani CNIC from Nadra.
- If you are already in the BISP and Ehsaas Program, then you are eligible for it.
- Priority given to the deharidar or mazdoor, beroozgar, and low-income families.

- Visit the official 8070 web portal. For Punjab, click it pser.punjab.gov.pk.
- Now, enter your 13-digit CNIC Number in the First box.
- Then complete the captcha or security check.
- Then submit it.
- Your eligibility or ineligibility will be displayed on the screen.
- If eligible, then you’ll receive a confirmation message.
Free Atta Scheme Apply via SMS
- Take your CNIC and open the SMS app on your mobile.
- Make sure the SIM is registered on the same CNIC.
- Send your 13-digit CNIC message to 8070.
- You’ll receive a follow-up message about your eligibility or ineligibility.
- Then, continue the process to register.
8070 Free Atta Scheme APP
For 2025, there is no official 8070 Free Atta Program App launched by the Government or Ehsaas. All third-party apps present on the Play Store are risky and are not official. Therefore, don’t try to download any unofficial app.
