Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef has officially launched the BISP Digital Wallet بی ائی ایس پی ڈیجیٹل والٹ for more than 10 million (1 crore) beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme. This digital wallet was launched after its successful impact in the Ramzan Relief Package.
This mobile digital wallet will ensure safe, fast, and transparent financial access for women and low-income families in Pakistan. With the help of this secure mobile banking account, you will receive your stipends and aids from BISP Ehsaas Programs directly into your digital wallet without facing long queues and delays.
Now the question is how to open a digital wallet in your account, and then it’s simple. First, you must have a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module). If you don’t have them, don’t worry, PM has also announced that 10 million free SIMs will be given in this initiative. You will receive a cellular SIM, then your wallet will be opened on that SIM in the BISP Centers.

The launch ceremony of BISP Digital Wallet was held on 25 August 2025, where Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif officially announced the start of this modern payment system for Benazir beneficiaries. - If a beneficiary already has a digital wallet, then their stipends will be paid after biometric verification without opening a separate digital wallet.

- At the first counter, a new SIM will be registered on her ID card, and then a digital wallet account will be opened on that SIM number.
