Ehsaas Panahgah Program (Musafir Khana) Check CNIC Registration 2025 | احساس پناہ گاہ پروگرام
In a country where people sleep on footpaths, roads, and under open skies, for many travellers who cannot afford hotel stays or are stranded away from their homes, or winter’s chill nights when people are exposed to a freezing environment, the Ehsaas Panahgah Program احساس پناہ گاہ پروگرام stands as a beacon of compassion, hope, and kindness.
This Panagah program, also known as the Musafir Khana Program, is a flagship welfare project launched by the government of Pakistan under the Ehsaas Program. This panah gah program addresses these issues by providing heated shelter and warm meals to the homeless and underprivileged.
These panahgah centers aim to provide a safe, clean, and respectful environment to the daily wage workers, mazdoor afrad, homeless individuals, and travelers with no place to stay. Whether anyone is looking for two-time meals or a free night’s stay, this programs welcome all the dignity, care and respect.
Ehsaas Panahgah Program 2025
The Ehsaas Panahgah Program is a promise of hope and a hand of support in harsh times, especially to travelers and daily-wage workers who find it difficult to find a peaceful place to sleep at night. This Panagah Program, locally known as the Musafir Khana program مسافرخانہ پروگرام, was launched by Imran Khan, a man of a kind heart. This program was launched under the Ehsaas Programs which aim to reduce poverty from Pakistan.
The word panahgah means “shelter” and the main purpose of this program is to offer free night stays and two-time meals to the homeless individuals, especially labourers, and travelers in urban areas. These shelters/musafir khany were established where the need was great, like near bus stations, hospitals, and bus-city centers. You can also use Ahsas Langar Khana Program where you’ll find free meals to eat.
Each Pangah center is well cleaned. Visitors are provided with clean bedding, food, washroom, masjid, laundry, 25/7 camera security, 2 waqt ka garm khana, medical care, and many others. This panahgah program is funded by the Bait-ul-Mall, and the dedicated staff of Serena Hotels are here to solve your problems. Initially, this program launched with 5 stay centers in Lahore, then expanded to 8, now these panagah centers are present in many major cities like Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Karachi, and KPK cities.
Now in 2025, Ehsaas Panahgah Centers serve meals to around 500 people and have 100 beds for overnight stay. You can stay at these centers for three consecutive nights, then after a day’s gap, you can stay there again, which may be extended in serious cases. Your registration will be made with your CNIC, and you will be provided with entry and checkout dates and a dedicated bed with a number. If you are two people, then your registration will be with separate CNICs, and you will have two separate beds to sleep on. These centers ensure a safe, clean and hygienic environment.
