The Government of Pakistan had started a scholarship program called the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program under the umbrella of the Ehsaas Program. This program is managed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

Ehsaas Scholarship is not just financial aid, it’s a life-changing opportunity for those who have a dream of higher Education but can’t afford university fees. This under graduate scholarship program is providing scholarships to more than 200,000 students in more than 135 universities across Pakistan. In Nov 2019, Imran Khan, PM of the time, launched this Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship program احساس اسکالرشپ to support deserving students. Then, in March 2020, this program was inaugurated with full implementation under Higher Education Commission (HEC), with 50,000 scholarships awarded to deserving students in Islamabad.

This marked the beginning of the program, which subsequently expanded to encompass more than 135 universities across Pakistan. This program is providing 4-year semester tuition fees with a stipend of 40,000 rupees per year. This program has reserved 50% of its budget for women and 2% for disabled persons. You just have to visit the official website of HEC and apply online through the portal.

This Scholarship program is second education supported program after Benazir Taleemi Program which provide cash transfer support to the children in Pakistan. Both these programs promote education in students.

The Program Ehsaas hec gov pk is only for deserving students, and HEC makes sure that only eligible students can get a scholarship from this program. To make it happen, they have set a criterion that a person should meet to apply for ahsas scholarship program.

Eligible For Ehsaas Scholarship

You are eligible for this scholarship if you meet the following criteria.

• Admissions will be on merit only. So you should meet the admission criteria of the institute in which you want to study. 
• Your age must be 18 years plus to register in this program. 
• You should maintain a CGPA above 3.0 with a clearance pass slip in all 6 subjects of each semester. 
• You should apply for admission to the programs allowed by HEC. 
• You must have a CNIC.
• Your household income must be less than 45000RS.
• You should not be a self-financed or distance education student.

Not Eligible for Ehsaas Scholarship

You are ineligible for the Ehsas Undergraduate Scholarship if you have any of these specifications. You are not eligible,

• If you are studying in an affiliate college or university. 
• If you are availing of any Ehsas Program or grants. 
• If you are enrolled in the Evening Degree program.
• If you are less than 18.
• If you fail in the previous semester. 
• If your monthly income is more than 45k.

The registration for the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program Phase III has started till the 31st December, 2025, and’s process is very simple. You just have to visit the official website. Apply by putting your CNIC. Then proceed to further steps. Complete each step carefully and then submit the hard copy of your application and documents to your university only.

• Make sure that you are eligible for this scholarship program by checking your eligibility in the above steps. 
• Then gather all the documents that I have mentioned in the next section, like CNIC, Utility Bills, Guardian CNIC, Siblings Fee, etc. 
• Then open your browser and go to the official website of the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan HEC. 
• Navigate to the HEC Online Application Portal. 
• Sign up with your CNIC and log in with a password. 
• Now enter personal details like Name, Contact Info, then academic information like university, CGPA, program, and lastly family details with financial condition. Make sure to put the correct information. 
• Now, attach the clean photos of scanned documents. 
• Review all the information twice and then submit online. 
• You will receive a confirmation notification. 
• After submission, print the form, attach the documents with it, and submit it to the university.
